One of the better shots of the weekend, I think. The fact that my eye makeup looks terrible in photos seriously bugs me though. D<

liquid latex, a bald cap and rice krispies. She's amazing.

Wow, doesn't seem all that expensive, huh? Probably too a very long time, though, right?

we were getting ready for at least two hours. That said, we had practiced a lot before.

Well, both of you, great job! I'm planning on doing a better job on my Joker cosplay for the next time I can dress up -- better scar stuff and try to do more with the makeup, though I did feel pretty accomplished with how that turned out. My dream is to dress up as the Joker when he wears the Honor Guard uniform with no makeup, but that would be challenging and VERY expensive. O_o

I would suggest getting some liquid latex. The bottle I got was 16 bucks but it lasts a long time if you don't cake it on. I didn't use that much for my scars at all, and neither did she (but obviously a lot more than I did). Liquid latex is scar magic, but it hurts like a bitch to take off.

I Think the Honor Guard idea is AWESOME.

I found a website that sold Honor Guard uniforms (and other things of that nature) where everything was $40+ except for a pair of white dress gloves that cost $5! =O If I ever was to do this costume, I'd have to search military surplus stores and earn a bunch of money. Trying to get a job right now . . . ^^; And I'd have to make the scars look really authentic, and I have a feeling that that rigid colodian stuff would be a key item for it.

*nod* I completely understand. I debated cosplaying Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid but the idea of how much it costs discouraged me severely.

My Two-Face (~ShichininSlasher) tried to do Joker scars with colodian. She said it's amazing, but hurts SO much to take off.
